Dulacca Community Days Off 2024

What was it?

The Community Days Off were two events, hosted at The Dulacca Hotel, to do two main things…

  1. Encourage the people in our community to take some time off & join like minded people for lunch & activities that will help them to unwind

  2. Raise awareness of TIACS and what services they offer to our local community

The events are themed for Ladies & Boys, but they are not gender exclusive events, so pick whichever one sounds like a great day off for you!

How much did we raise?

Between the ticket sales for both events and raffle ticket sales we raised over $2,000 for TIACS! This pays for 15 counselling sessions, which could change peoples lives.

What is TIACS?(This is a Conversation Starter)

TIACS a professional mental health counselling service for tradies, truckies, farmers and blue collar workers.

After successfully launching their social enterprise workwear company TradeMutt, founders Ed and Dan saw a great need to remove the barriers that prevented hard working Australians from accessing professional mental health counselling.

TIACS removes the physical and financial barriers to accessing help through a simple text and call service directly to professional counsellors.

Who do we have to thank?

Our generous sponsors:

Without the support of these amazing sponsors… these events wouldn’t have been possible. We also would never have been able to raise such an amazing amount for TIACS. To support the businesses who supported us please check out their webpages/Facebook pages by following the below links:

We would like to say a special thank you to all the businesses that donated lucky door prizes for our attendees to win on the days of these events. It really made everyone feel extra special to be given the chance to win something, and all our winners definitely walked away with the warm fuzzies! As a small business owner, we know how many requests are made on you all each year to donate to local not-for-profits, events, fundraising etc, so we appreciate every gift that was given in support of our Community Days Off.

Thank you to these generous donors:
